Tongala Nutrition set out to recommission its processing facility after three years sitting idle. Restarting a plant like this is not a simple switch-on: it meant working through a complex automation environment, verifying every system, and doing it without blowing out timelines or budget.
On top of the recommissioning, the site was wrestling with data trapped across several systems and platforms, including its ERP, with no easy way to pull it together.
A Partner Through Every System
Scope worked alongside the Tongala team to navigate the automation environment, minimise downtime, and recommission the site efficiently. Just as importantly, we built the team's own knowledge and confidence in managing the systems day to day.
To solve the data problem, we designed and integrated custom Excel tools that pulled information from the ERP, had it talk to another platform, and consolidated everything into one user-friendly file. What was a heavy manual job became an automated, streamlined process that cut a significant administrative load off the site.
